At UrBurn Wax, we believe that life is all about balance, the only way to speed up is to slow down, we believe that practicing this can provoke a sense of calm and unwinding environment to reset.

The idea of UrBurn Wax was born in the middle of the pandemic (which was a very STRANGE time). Like many of us in that moment, we felt like we needed to really enhance self care and to create an eco-friendly atmosphere to rest and recharge. We took it into our own hands, where UrBurn Wax (previously named EMD.Wicks) was established producing hand crafted decor that is inspired by minimalism, rest and tranquility combining high-quality.

At UrBurn Wax, we value the art of minimalistic, neutral and that idea of natural living, whilst sourcing high quality, clean and simple ingredients into our candles and melts.

All of our creations are hand made to order using only soy wax.

Here are some of our top reasons for choosing soy wax candles:

Soy wax is a vegetable wax made from the oil of soybeans and is an entirely natural product that's safe for your skin and respiratory system.

Soy is a renewable source unlike paraffin wax which relies in our dwindling supply of crude oil.

Soy wax is a carbon neutral product, meaning you can enjoy your candle knowing it hasn't had a negative impact on the environment.

Soy wax burns on average 40-50% slower than paraffin wax, resulting in long-lasting candles and giving you better value for money.
Soy wax is clean burning and doesn't release toxins, carcinogens or pollutants which means it's less likely to trigger allergies.
Soy wax won't release petrol-carbon soot like you get from paraffin candles meaning no oily black marks on your walls! Keeping the wick trimmed short will also ensure that the candle doesn't smoke and that it burns efficiently.
